The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
May’s Legislative agenda ended with movement on County Sales Tax, Revenue Redistribution to the local municipalities, Public Speaking codification, and a shouting match over the proposed Early Learning Center that only amplified the fear and anxieties our most vulnerable families live with every day.
I break down each of the issues, along with video, and where I stand on each of these issues, most of which I have been doing the work of real advocacy for since February.
A Final Note
When the people elect us, and entrust us, they do so under the justified assumption we will ease their fears and anxieties, not amplify them.
“There is a certain peace that comes with knowing less — and choosing better.”
